Gambrell to Retire from Dow

Mike Gambrell, executive vice president, manufacturing and engineering operations for Dow, will relinquish his line responsibilities on September 1 and retire from Dow at the end of this year.

Gambrell will take on a new role as advisor to Andrew Liveris, Dow chairman and CEO, on all manufacturing and engineering activities for Sadara. He will join the Sadara Project Office (SPO) full-time, and become a Sadara Board Member.

Mike will also assume other external activities as directed by the CEO.

"Mike has delivered incredible results and provided invaluable leadership during his outstanding 35-years of service to our company. He has made long-lasting positive impact on the numerous businesses, geographies and functions that he provided leadership to during his career," said Liveris. "In recent years, he has taken manufacturing and engineering operations to a new level of performance while keeping safety of Dow people and reliability of our operations around the world as a top priority for Dow. His impact on our company and our people will be felt for years to come."
