FMC Corp. Names John Kasper Director of Marketing

FMC Corp. has announced that John Kasper has joined the company as director of marketing. In this position, Kasper will lead the FMC marketing group and oversee segment strategies, all tactical marketing elements of the operational business, traditional communications and e-communications, market and competitive intelligence efforts, data management, and customer relationship management functions.

"John is an excellent addition to our strong, innovative marketing team," says Bob Trogele, North America area director for FMC. "He has an exceptional background in agribusiness and crop production and brings a wealth of experience to this new challenge. He will be an invaluable asset as FMC continues its aggressive expansion of our crop protection portfolio in the coming months and years."

Kasper started his career in agriculture working at Cornell University in the distribution of new cultivars and then worked with Agway as a crop advisor. He spent 10 years with Gowan in the sales, marketing, and business development functions. John served as Northeast marketing manager for UAP and then joined NISSO Agrochemicals in 2002 as the director of marketing. In 2006 he was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing.
