FKI Logistex Expands Canadian Operations

FKI Logistex, a global leader in integrated material handling solutions, has announced the expansion of its Canadian operations with FKI Logistex Canada Ltd.

FKI Logistex Canada brings together three existing FKI Logistex Canadian divisions — Airport, Post & Parcel, Warehouse & Distribution, and Manufacturing Systems — to create a single, go-to-market entity in Canada offering enhanced, integrated service to the company's Canadian customer base.

"Canada is a vital, growing market for material handling solutions," says Steve Ackerman, president, FKI Logistex North America. "With this strengthened organization, FKI Logistex is further committed to supporting Canadian companies and organizations with their material handling automation needs."

FKI Logistex Canada customers include retailer Canadian Tire Corp. and third-party logistics provider ATS, as well as several major Canadian airports. Steve McElweenie, an FKI veteran and Canadian native, will lead FKI Logistex Canada from the greater Toronto area.

"I look forward to working together with our talented sales, service, and engineering staff to better service the Canadian material handling market," says McElweenie. "FKI Logistex's product and service offerings are second to none. We are excited to expand and evolve our operations in Canada."
