Elevators/Elevator Buckets

Segregation of particles in powder blends can cause serious problems, resulting in reduced product quality, dissatisfied customers, the need to rework or scrap batches, missed deliveries, and additional disposal costs. The gentle-handling TipTrak can help eliminate segregation by running horizontally, vertically, and horizontally without risky transfer points. The mixture remains in the buckets until it is discharged to the next process. Interlocking buckets never come apart, guaranteeing that spillage or product loss will not occur during the elevation process.

The Tiger-Tuff industrial-duty elevator bucket is a direct replacement for any AA-style elevator bucket while offering longer life and more capacity. It is built with a thicker front lip, corners, and walls to increase elevator bucket life and maintain maximum capacity. It averages approximately 30% more capacity than same-sized AA-style elevator buckets. The bucket is available in nylon, urethane, and polyethylene materials. Nylon possesses excellent abrasion resistance and impact resistance and easily operates in temperatures up to 300°F. Urethane is the most abrasion-resistant material, excelling in wet, sticky applications. It operates in temperatures up to 180ºF.

The Elecon bucket elevator and conveyor system can move materials in all three directions. The buckets actually turn corners. The three-axis capability is a result of the system’s patented chain design and wedge-shaped buckets. Because of its flexibility, the system can handle virtually any circuit design imaginable.

Style AA molded nylon buckets are produced from all new injection molds, engineered to match the original mill standard design. These 12 sizes combine with the existing 22 sizes in ductile iron and cast aluminum to make up a full range of AA buckets. Nylon buckets are ideal for use in foundry sand, coal, fertilizer, sand and gravel, and other abrasive applications. Complementing this line of buckets is a large inventory of elevator bolts—12 million pieces in four styles and three materials.
