Hawk MeasurementAcoustic Wave Level Transmitters
Booth 2907
- The Sultan 234 can be powered using loop power (2-wire), 3-, or 4-wire sources. It does not matter which power source is used; the Sultan Acoustic wave can measure in difficult environments. These powerful instruments emit an acoustic wave pulse that is then reflected from the surface of the material being measured. The reflected signal is processed using specially developed software to enhance the correct signal and reject false or spurious echoes. The measured signal is temperature compensated to provide maximum accuracy to the outputs and display. There is no direct contact with the media, which can extend up to 393 ft from the sensor.  Hawk Measurement, Middleton, MA  888-429-5538 www.hawkmeasure.com K-Tron Process Group Loader/Receiver Controller

Booth 1413 - The LSR Controller consolidates several applications into one system, allowing it to control either a K-Tron Premier self contained loader or a single central receiver for pneumatically conveying a wide variety of bulk materials. The controller is locally mounted with all 24 vdc unit devices pre-wired. An auto-switching power supply accepts 115 or 230 vac. The front panel of the controller includes a potentiometer to set draw times, on/off switch, and multicolored LEDs indicate power/alarm, loading status, and dump status. Available materials of construction for the enclosure are polycarbonate and stainless steel. The unit allows for nine different operating modes selectable with internal rotary switch and 10-position dip switch. The controller provides precise, reliable control filling by time or level and various discharge configurations including gravity or powered gate. Control parameters include pulse cleaning, purge (line clearance) valve, ratio loading, level sensor, fill (sequence) valve, by-pass (vacuum breaker) valve, and one vacuum pump motor when controlling a single central receiver. K-Tron Process Group/K-Tron Premier, Salina, KS  785-825-1611 www.ktronprocessgroup.com

Heavy-Duty Dust Collector
The new Gold Series High Vacuum (GSHV) dust collector controls emissions in applications up to 17 in. Hg vacuum or 8 psi positive pressure. It combines the proven features of the company’s Gold Series collectors—rugged construction, high-efficiency cartridge filtration, and ease of service—into a heavily reinforced dust capture vessel designed for use as a central vacuum system, positive or negative product receiver, or high-pressure bin vent in a full range of industries and processes. The collector comes with a choice of two or four Gold Cone HemiPleat filter cartridges, available in two efficiencies: 99.99% (MERV 11) or 99.999% (MERV 15/16) on 0.5 µm particles. A cyclonic tangential inlet knocks out most of the dust as it enters the collector, minimizing dust contact with the filters for prolonged service life. The unit can be configured as a stand-alone dust collector or can be used for bin vent applications without the hopper and support structure. It also has a pulse-cleaning system regulated by a user-friendly solid state control panel. Optional features include a horizontal explosion vent for combustible dust  applications, a bag-in/bag-out (BIBO)  access door and continuous liner discharge for pharmaceutical or hazardous dusts, and a 55-gal drum or self-dumping hopper for collection of discharged dust. Camfil Farr APC, Jonesboro, AR 800-479-6801 www.farrapc.com

HAF Equipment

Convey and Weigh System
CNW modules neatly integrate a vacuum convey system, surge bin with live discharge, and a loss-in-weight feeder in one self-contained assembly. Powders can be vacuum conveyed, surged, and weigh batched efficiently with single assembly. The CNW is capable of producing any size batch. Multiple units can be arranged in-line or radially to produce a complete self-contained multi-ingredient conveying and weighing system. Multiple CNW modules can run simultaneously and fill autonomously, resulting in compact sizing of individual modules or complete systems. All modules are tool-free, quick take-apart to facilitate product changeovers. A nonproprietary scale system can be easily integrated to existing plant control platforms with accurate and repeatable results. The system is suited for food, USDA-Dairy, or general industrial applications. HAF Equipment Inc, Centerville, MN 651-653-5098 www.hafequipment.com

Dimensioning Systems
Booth 2629
- CubeLogic Dimensioning Systems help logistics operations get more boxes onto pallets and more freight into trucks. In one step, the systems quickly and quietly measures the weight and dimensional data of any cubic package. Beyond simply displaying the information, CubeLogic can also be used with a printer or PC for quick calculations and data storage. Three separate models are offered to meet a broad range of capacity needs. The CubeLogic 250 and CubeLogic 265 are ideal for bench tops or shipping desks and are  collapsible for easy storage. The CubeLogic 480 is built to install with almost any conveyor system for more efficient stationary measurement. Rice Lake Weighing Systems, Rice Lake, WI 800-472-6703 www.ricelake.com
