It operates without compressed air and may be used for everyday cleanup, as a dedicated dust collector for a single process machine, or as an accessory to an installed dust collector when replacing or emptying dust drawers or drums. The heavy-duty unit uses pulse-cleaning vacuum control technology that works with ambient air to automatically flush filters of dust and debris. It comes equipped with durable spun-bond polyester filters that last up to 10 times longer than conventional filters and capture dust particles to 0.1 µm. A double seal on the filters ensures rated efficiency, and a cyclonic housing design minimizes filter exposure to debris.  Camfil Farr APC, Jonesboro, AR 800-479-6801  www.farrapc.com

u13ca_85891.jpgVertical Cartridge Collector from Ultra Industries
The UVC Ultra-Flo vertical cartridge dust collector has been designed to handle a variety of in-plant air quality problems. Its compact size allows for installation in tight areas while its modular design allows for multiple arrangements to handle airflow from 500 to 25,000 cfm. The vertical orientation of the cartridges requires less cleaning effort because the dust falls directly into a collection hopper without depositing back onto itself, which can occur with horizontal cartridges. The UVC can be configured with drawer hoppers, a pyramid hopper, or as a bin vent without a hopper. The unit is covered by a comprehensive warranty that includes parts and labor warranty for the first year and a full parts warranty for the second year. The housing is covered by a five-year warranty with major structural components covered for 10 years. Ultra Industries Inc., Racine, WI  262-633-5070 www.ultradustcollectors.com

u13d2_85892.jpgDowndraft Series Dust Collector
Booth 1304 - With the Modu-Kleen downdraft dust collector, the air enters at the top of the dust collector housing and flows downward to the cartridge filters, improving the filtering process and the material-to-air ratio. Air velocities are lower than those with a conventional dust collector, reducing the load on each filter cartridge and extending filter life. Cartridge filters are positioned horizontally, requiring less floor space and making filter removal easier. Personnel never have to enter the filter housing for general maintenance or for cartridge filter removal. This provides a safe and quick method of filter removal. For fast and easy inspections, a large, quick-opening door allows maintenance personnel to closely inspect each cartridge when required. In addition, any single cartridge can be removed without disturbing adjacent cartridges. Also, each cartridge filter has a unique built-in quarter turn bayonet mount, so no tools of any kind are required for cartridge removal.  Dynamic Air Inc., St. Paul, MN 651-484-2900 www.dynamicair.com

u1404_85899.jpgFilter Receiver
Booth 1413 - The Filtair Series filter receiver provides automatic material-from-air separation. The tangential inlet located in the receiver’s circular hopper provides a cyclonic separation of the material from the air stream. Remaining airborne material is trapped by the filter element. Timed, compressed air pulses clean the filter bags or cartridges, dropping the once airborne material into the hopper. Only a single row of the filter element is pulsed at a time, leaving the remaining filter element on-line. The filter element is protected from the material mainstream by a deflector shield. Efficient performance of the filter receiver is achieved through the proper selection of filter media and the correct air-to-cloth ratio. The units feature quick-access doors where the filter element is easily accessed for service and comes with an enclosed solid state timer control panel. Materials of construction include carbon or stainless steel.  K-Tron Process Group/K-Tron Premier, Salina, KS 785-825-1611 www.ktronprocessgroup.com
