Compass Minerals Announces Promotions

Compass Minerals has announced two key promotions. Jim Wolf has been named vice president, environmental, health, safety and security, and Carol Wood has been named vice president, enterprise risk management and financial planning and analysis.

"Carol's and Jim's relentless dedication, work ethic, and strong long-term results help keep Compass Minerals a safe and profitably growing minerals company for our stakeholders," said Angelo Brisimitzakis, president and CEO.

Wolf is responsible for establishing and managing processes that protect the health and safety of employees, safeguard the environment, and enhance security across all Compass Minerals operations. He joined the company in 1992 and was most recently director, environmental, health and safety. He is a licensed professional engineer, holding a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Kansas State University.

Wood is responsible for overseeing the company's financial planning process, including the financial analysis of strategic initiatives, and for the company's increasing focus on enterprise risk management. Wood joined the company in 1996 and most recently served as director of financial planning & analysis and risk management. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master of business administration degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
