Tank Connection to Increase Production by 50%

Kansas-based Tank Connection has announced that it will expand its production by 50 percent in the fourth quarter. The company is also seeking to hire about 35 new employees, and will add new equipment as part of the expansion.

“We are making investments in both capital assets and new personnel in order to meet demand for our products,” said Vince Horton, VP sales Tank Connection. “Our markets are strong and we offer the best bolted tank in the industry to fulfill the expectations of our clients. The current and future outlook remains extremely positive for all of our product lines, including shop-welded tanks, field-welded tanks, hybrid storage tanks, and aluminum dome covers.”

Tank Connection has its headquarters in Parsons, KS but has other facilities throughout KS. This is the company’s 10th anniversary and it has grown from two employees to more than 400.

Tank Connection manufactures and installs storage tanks and other equipment, such as dome covers, in dry bulk markets. The company added more than 120,000 sq ft of manufacturing space in late 2013.

According to the Parsons Sun, Tank Connection will add new equipment to its Galesburg and Parsons facilities and a third shift will also be added to both facilities.
