The Triskelion lump breaker is composed of a number of rotating triangular blades that intermesh with stationary blades. The triangular blades capture the input material, force it through the lump breaker, and roughly size the output into relatively uniform pieces of 3/4 in. or less by the spacing of the blades. The unit is effective for breaking press cake, chunks, slabs, and sheets of wet, dry, sticky, hard, or soft materials. Construction is mild or stainless steel, with other materials available. Units are available in capacities from a few pounds to several thousand pounds per hour. Special features like rod fingers instead of blades, gas-tight construction, and sanitary and high-temperature construction are available.
