Metso to Supply Crushing and Grinding Equipment to Anglo American in Chile

Metso Minerals will supply crushing and grinding equipment to Anglo American for the Los Bronces development project in Chile. The delivery will be completed by the end of 2010. The value of the order is approximately EUR 12 million.

The order comprises a primary gyratory crusher, two tertiary cone crushers, and three grinding mills. The equipment will be placed in a processing plant at the Andes Mountains 3500 meters above sea level. Once in full operation, the plant is capable of processing 87,000 tons of copper ore daily. The order also includes start up and commissioning services.
