The Jet Pulverizer Company, a subsidiary of Rice Industries LLC, has announced the promotion of its new President, Valentin Alvarez, currently President of Ancos, a sister company and subsidiary of Rice Industries LLC. Valentin comes with a background in leading complex, technical multi-site businesses and will continue to build on the strong growth achieved under Jet Pulverizer’s outgoing president, Austin Fay. 

Austin Fay will be stepping down from Jet Pulverizer in October 2019, after four years as president and twelve years overall, continuing the legacy of technological advancements and contract manufacturing quality, Jet Pulverizer’s key attributes since its founding in 1946. Under his leadership, Jet Pulverizer experienced tremendous changes and growth making it a more modern and sustainable business. 

“We are sad to see Austin leave but thankful to him for his efforts as leader of Jet Pulverizer. He was a catalyst for change while being a stabilizing presence during and after our acquisition of Jet Pulverizer. We wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Dan Rice, chief executive officer of Rice Industries, in a statement.

Valentin will retain his Ancos leadership position while continuing to develop Jet Pulverizer’s capabilities, increase its productivity and lead the company to new heights. “Jet Pulverizer has a strong foundation, great quality service and innovative technologies, I am proud to lead this organization and excited to get started,” Valentin said while presenting to his new Jet Pulverizer team.
