Jet Milling Technology Webinar Announced

On Wednesday, January 30 at 2:00 pm, Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems will host a free, online webinar to discuss the basic principles and technologies used for particle on particle size reduction, also known as jet milling.

Jet mills are often used in fine size reduction applications of hard or abrasive materials down to D97 > 2 µm, or when high purity and minimal contamination is required. There are many specialized variation of the jet mill that include fluidized bed jet mills, spiral jet mills, and opposed jet mills. This webinar will discuss the different types of jet mills and the various industrial benefits and limitations for each technology.

Jet Milling 101 is recommended for processors with fine to ultra-fine size reduction applications in chemical, pharmaceutical, and mineral industries. The program is 45 minutes long and will conclude with a short question and answer forum.
