Hosokawa Introduces SFW Air Classifying Mill

This new Hosokawa SFW air classifying mill bridges the performance gap between a jet mill and a standard air classifying mill (ACM).

The SFW ACM utilizes the same footprint, same energy input – same size motor as a standard ACM, while producing a product that has a finer D50 than the standard.

When comparing an SFW ACM to a jet mill, it provides a mechanical impact size reduction without the need for an air compressor, using a lower energy input while still producing ultra-fine end product.  

Overall, the SFW ACM utilizes the same energy input and increases the capacity to produce an ultra-fine end product.
