AVEKA Acquires CCE Technologies

AVEKA Inc. has acquired CCE Technologies Inc., Cottage Grove, MN, a company offering ultra-fine grinding and sizing solutions. The acquisition adds jet milling and air classification equipment and services to AVEKA’s portfolio.

“The combination of CCE Technologies with AVEKA will provide our clients with a greater variety of processing options,” said Marie Jorissen, president of AVEKA Group. “We are excited to provide our customers with these expanded service capabilities.”

The new entity will be named AVEKA CCE Technologies LLC. All jet milling and classification equipment sales and processing services will continue at the Cottage Grove, MN location.

Willie Hendrickson, CEO/founder of AVEKA, started the company in 1994 with a divestiture of a 3M Company corporate research pilot plant. Since then, the AVEKA Group has grown to five locations offering contract manufacturing and research & development services to a broad range of industries. AVEKA offers a wide variety of process capabilities such as spray drying, fluid bed drying, blending, screening, and hammer milling. The addition of jet milling and air classification to this portfolio is an excellent fit for both companies.

“We believe the addition of CCE Technologies to our Group will play a key role in our continued success,” said Hendrickson.
