The US operations of Zurich-based BenLink, a subsidiary of Bühler, is establishing a separate legal entity to better support its customers and grow its business.

Founded in 2018, BenLink now boasts more than 1,600 qualified technicians on its US-based platform. It uses a unique crowdsourcing platform to support OEM customers in the food and pharmaceutical markets with technicians that can provide companies with a quick response to service requests. Its US organization was established in 2021 based on the company’s success in Europe, the UK, and India. Response from US companies to its offerings has been overwhelming, so the decision was made to create a new independent company, allowing it to broaden its services and reach into other markets.

“To date we have served the US market together with our partner, Bühler Inc.,” explained Riccardo Semadeni, CEO of BenLink. “However, we see so much demand from additional OEM customers, that we are now establishing our own legal entity in the USA. This way we can grow faster and serve our customers better locally.”

BenLink LLC, the US organization, will continue leveraging relationships with mechanical contractors, welders, and electricians in the US, assuring its teams are prepared to maintain clients’ equipment and maximize their life cycle management efficiently and effectively.

“BenLink provides a growing network of skilled technicians enabling us to support OEMs with routine service and maintenance capabilities,” said Phil Connor, BenLink’s North American business development manager. “By leveraging this network on our unique digital platform, we can provide fast, flexible, and focused service in our OEMs’ customers’ local markets, improving their lifecycle management and enabling more profitable operations.”
