Tumbler Screeners for Fine and Ultrafine Screening

ALMO Process offers Allgaier tumbler screeners for dry bulk goods. The tumbler screeners are entirely FDA compliant, and are suitable for the feed and food industries. The unique method of separation allows for gentle, efficient treatment of the product, with up to 99% screening efficiency. The screeners are suitable to a wide array of applications with up to five decks of separation and easy maintenance.

The screeners’ capabilities in fine and ultrafine separation (as small as 20 microns) are directly attributed to the three simultaneous kinds of motion. The machine rolls the particles on the screen decks, which allows efficient separation into appropriate sizes. Additionally, irregularly shaped items such as needles will not fall through a screen, as they would in a vibratory screener. Since the material is being tumbled rather than shaken, there is reduced probability for damage and wrongfully sorted particles.
