pbs0712p6a.jpgQuick-Access Screener
The Air-Lift quick-access system for circular vibratory screeners allows rapid interior cleaning, inspection, and screen changes while reducing manual labor. To operate, a quick-acting band clamp connecting the frames is removed and a remote air valve is actuated, causing two vertically mounted air cylinders to raise the upper frame(s). One entire raise/lower cycle can be accomplished in five minutes. Additionally, one operator can now perform what was previously a two-person task, depending on screen diameter.

pbs0712p6b.jpgVibratory Screener
The Vibroscreen is a large circular unitized gyratory screen with three-component multiplane mechanical vibration. Motion is induced by a motor with a double-extended shaft that is fitted at both ends with eccentric weights. The whole drive assembly is mounted on a circular base by rugged springs that allow the unit to vibrate freely, while the springs prevent transmitted vibration from reaching the floor area on which the machine stands. Screens can be mounted one on top of the other within the screening assembly.

pbs0712p6c.jpgIn-Line Sifter
The QA24 in-line sifter was developed for small to moderate production volumes and to provide an economical quality assurance and HACCP system for food, pharmaceutical, and chemical operations. The unit features Third-Party Verification of conformance to BISSC standards for the design and construction of equipment used in the baking industry. It provides the same Tru-Balance drive and pneumatic sieve compression system as the company’s larger in-line sifters. The QA24 can be inserted directly into a vacuum- or dilute-phase pressure pneumatic conveying system, eliminating the need for additional equipment. A single person can easily dismantle the unit for inspection, maintenance, or cleaning.

pbs0712p6d.jpgMultifrequency Screener
The Kroosh SXE is a high-performance screener that places the screen surface in multifrequency peak resonance mode to perform screen separations from 20 µm to 1 in. This updated model features easier disassembly for quick cleaning and does not utilize tension working screens, ensuring that rescreening is performed on-site at a fraction of the cost of units with tension working screens. The screen surface’s high amplitude offers performance advantages over traditional screening technology.

pbs0712p6e.jpgPrecision Woven Wire Mesh
A comprehensive product line of precision woven wire mesh and fabricated components is manufactured for sieving and sizing, screening, filtration, and separation. The components are used in wet and dry operations, vibrating sizing machines, test sieves, eddy current sieving, and other applications for the production and extraction of chemical products, foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, metallic powders, and fertilizers. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and processes, SI wire cloth has tight tolerances that exceed ISO 9044 standards. The wire cloth has an aperture size range from 16 mm down to 20 µm, the world’s finest square mesh. Thousands of specifications are available in 40-, 48-, and 60-in. widths, and finer specifications are available with up to 100-in. widths. The components are woven from raw materials drawn in-house, providing 100% traceability and quality control.

pbs0712p7a.jpgAutomatic Tensioning Screen Frames
Replacing wood screen frames with all-metal automatic tensioning screen frames improves efficiency, speed, repeatability, and cleanliness. These frames feature a patented design for attaching screen clothing to unitized frames with Quick-Snap spring tension clips. The clips permit quick removal and replacement of screen clothing and ensure constant, uniform tension across the entire screen surface for superior screening, reduced screen blinding, and longer screen life. With a one-piece design, the screen frames are easy to assemble, clean, and maintain, simplifying maintenance, reducing downtime, and eliminating the need for spare screen frames.

pbs0712p7b.jpgDeblinding System
The Vibrasonic Spiroscreen allows powders to be screened using finer meshes with greater accuracy than was possible with previous models. This feature increases the value of the screened powders while improving their final quality. The unit eliminates screen blinding and increases throughput when sieving pharmaceuticals, metal powders, foods, and other materials. The system uses a spiral-shaped ultrasonic distribution element to provide maximum control of the powder on the mesh screen. All screen apertures remain clear so that powder can pass through them, reducing production downtime. The Spiroscreen fits any existing circular sieve or screener, even other companies’ models.
