Rotex Global LLC has hit the road again, taking the company's Apex dry separation screener on a 16-week tour across North America. The Rotex 2012 North American Roadshow gives current and potential customers an opportunity to spend time with the equipment at their location.

This year's trip started in New York on June 25 and will conclude with a return to Cincinnati in late September. In between, tour stops include: Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia in Canada; Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado in the U.S.

The company's custom-designed, mobile exhibition vehicle has already clocked more than 6000 miles on previous tours, notes Mark London, manager of global marketing and strategic coordination at Rotex. "The Roadshow gives us an opportunity to visit customer and soon-to-be customer sites for demonstrations and presentations," he says. "We can be on-site and setup in less than 30 minutes. It's a great opportunity for key members of a company's management team to see the gyratory reciprocating motion, and learn how Rotex machines make an operation more efficient and increase revenue."

Apex dry separation screeners are designed for efficient performance, increased process up-time within the production line, and quick and easy maintenance and cleaning. Utilizing a low-angle, long-stroke gyratory-reciprocating motion, the Apex provides efficient material distribution, stratification, and separation. This increases output while maintaining high quality dry separations.

Additionally, the Apex offers ergonomically-designed performance and service features. A single operator can complete all screen inspections quickly, as well as maintain, clean, and change screens quickly and easily. Weighing just five pounds, each screen panel can be changed in 80% less time than competitive models.

Apex dry separation screeners are ideal for dry separations of chemicals, fertilizers, clay/non-metallic minerals, industrial sand, salt/potash/soda ash, food processing, sugar, crushed minerals, refractory, water filter/treatment, feed pellets, meat meal, bakeries and cereals, corn processing, starch, sweeteners, forest products, commodity pellets, resin, pet food, oil seed processing, grain cleaning, engineered pellets, metal powder, rubber processing, soaps, and detergents.
