MPI’s new Intell-I-Mag intelligent magnet is changing the way customers use separators in three key production locations.

Primary: The best way to keep metal out of the final product is to keep it from coming into the plant in the first place. Intell-I-Mag alerts users of incoming metal during the unloading process which improves vendor monitor documentation.

Secondary: Intell-I-Mag protects downstream processing equipment by empowering operators to set alerts for saturation levels and automatic cleaning. Preventing a metal event saves the user from unplanned maintenance and repair costs, as well as downstream damage, including loss of product integrity.

Finishing: Documentation is important and ensures exceptional final product quality. When a facility has a good upstream metal control program in place, the largest threat to final product quality can be weakly magnetic work hardened stainless steel.
