JWC Environmental Expands Board of Directors

JWC Environmental has added Anselmo Teixeira, a 35-year veteran of the municipal and industrial wastewater markets, to its board of directors.

“Our customers’ and partners’ needs are continually evolving and growing, and JWC is adapting as well to properly support them,” said Ken Biele, CEO of JWC Environmental. “We believe the industry knowledge and experience Anselmo brings to the board coupled with his firsthand insights of customers, partners, markets and technologies will improve our performance, expected growth, and reinforce our commitment to the industry and our partners.”

Teixeira has held multiple global roles at Dorr-Oliver, Eimco Process Equipment (currently Ovivo) within the U.S., Canada, Brazil, and other countries. He later served as the senior vice president at U.S. Filter Corp. and its successors Veolia, Siemens Water (currently Evoqua Water Technologies), which included managing the Global Municipal Wastewater group for the company.

One of Teixeira’s primary areas of expertise is in liquid/solids separation, as well as clarification, thickening, dewatering technologies and products. “As with our recent acquisition of IPEC Consultants, appointing Anselmo to the JWC Environmental board enhances our strategy of expanding the success of our Monster Separation Systems screens along with our Monster grinders products,” says Biele.

“I have followed JWC Environmental over my career and admired its growth into a leader in the wastewater industry,” says Teixeira. “I have tremendous respect for JWC’s ability to innovate and develop such a strong reputation for service and support in the market. I look forward to contributing to its continued success as well as supporting the needs of the company’s customers and extremely strong global rep partner network.”

Teixeira currently serves as a board member for Cambi AS, a global leader and pioneer in reducing and converting sludge into beneficial biosolids products and renewable energy through advanced anaerobic digestion (thermal hydrolysis). He holds a principal consultant role with AT Consulting.
