Magnet Applications, a subsidiary of Bunting Magnetics Co., has announced that its facility in DuBois, PA is formally registered with the U.S. Department of State, Defense Directorate of Trade Control, under the rules set forth by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The registration is complemented by an ITAR compliance program at the facility, which is also compliant with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
“As a premier supplier of high-technology magnetic material and assemblies, we increasingly find our products being used in defense and other sensitive applications,” said Magnet Applications general manager Pete Lipetzky. “In response to the requirements of our military and aerospace customers, Magnet Applications has completed a rigorous program which guarantees that sensitive information about our products is properly protected.”
