Bunting Magnetics Co., a producer of precision magnetic products, has made two significant appointments at its headquarters operation.

Rod Henricks has been named director of sales for Bunting Magnetics Co., reporting to Bunting Magnetics CEO and president, Bob Bunting. In his new position, Henricks will direct the Bunting US, Canada, and Latin America direct sales force, and the Bunting representative and distributor network.

"Rod's previous assignment as product manager-metal detection, as well as his experience as a former Bunting general sales manager, bring a complete understanding of the company goals and products to his new position,” said Bob Bunting. “He also joins the Bunting Executive Leadership Team."

Henricks is a graduate of Wichita State University.

Robert J. Bunting, Jr., succeeds Rod Henricks as product manager-metal detection, reporting to Barry Voorhees, general manager of the Bunting Newton, KS operation.

"Robert's technical knowledge and his enthusiasm for industrial applications of metal detection make him well qualified for his new position,” said Bob Bunting. “In previous assignments and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Robert has continuously expanded his responsibilities within the Bunting organization."

Robert J. Bunting, Jr., is a third-generation employee of Bunting Magnetics. Since his graduation from Rockhurst University, he has served the company in various sales-related positions, most recently as business strategist for metal detection.
