Bunting Magnetics Co. introduces a new self-cleaning plate housing magnet. The new product will be used in the grain and milling industries, as well as many other industries with dry material processes.  
 
"The new Bunting self-cleaning plate housing magnet incorporates powerful rare earth magnets to reliably and consistently remove metal from flow-resistant materials,” said Bunting product manager Rick Bigham. “We expect it to be a great solution for free-flowing materials as well, particularly many abrasive products. The design of the new self-cleaning plate housing magnet makes it particularly applicable to hard-to-flow products with high moisture, oil, or fat content. Because the new magnets are automatically self-cleaning, they can be equipped with control packages and installed in hard-to-reach locations where access may be difficult."
