A&D Corp. Launches A&D Inspection

To address the increased need for quality assurance and critical control points on manufacturer production lines, A&D Corp. announces the formation of a new business division, A&D Inspection.

A natural extension of the A&D Weighing division, A&D Inspection leverages years of technology leadership in precision weighing with the initial introduction of two flagship products — the AD-4961 Series checkweigher and AD-4971 Series metal detector – which ensure accurate inspection in a wide range of in-line and assembly line processes.

“We know our customers – whether they are smaller businesses or large-scale manufacturers – need high-performance, high-quality products that are customizable, flexible, and affordable, to give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace,” said Terry Duesterhoeft, president and CEO of A&D Americas. “This new business division allows us to leverage the longevity and expertise of our weighing business and the DSP technology of our automotive and instrumentation businesses to bring these new products to the industry.”

A&D Inspection will provide its products to manufacturers across a variety of industries, including food and beverage, personal care, and machine parts manufacturing, among others.

“We are proud to offer our customers these high-quality solutions that will set new standards for performance and precision on production lines and a range of in-line processes,” said Daniel Cannistraci, product manager for A&D Inspection.

Each division of A&D runs as a self-contained business unit to maximize innovation and to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

“We expect great things from this new division in both the short term and in the years to come,” said Duesterhoeft.
