Appcon utilizes its side loading filter receiver (SLFR) in numerous dense phase and dilute phase pneumatic conveying applications. The SLFR allows for installation in facilities where space constraints may be a concern, especially low-headroom applications. It also allows operators instant, ergonomic access to filter housing for maintenance, sanitation, inspection, etc. The Appcon SLFR housing is built to withstand deep vacuum, allowing for use in dense phase transport applications. The design of the SLFR has been executed to allow for use in high-end food and dairy processing facilities. Units can be outfitted with flameless vents or chemical suppression systems in applications in which explosive dusts need to be taken into consideration. Tool-free take-apart construction is also available.
