Mike Dickson has joined Piab from Kollmorgen, a Danaher operating company. Dickson will assume responsibility for the Piab America organization, based in Hingham, MA.
Chuck Weilbrenner, regional director-Americas for Piab, has retired after a 30-year career to pursue other interests. His day to day involvement ended on May 31, 2013.
In his 21 years at Danaher, Dickson served in a number of commercial leadership roles with increasing responsibility. Over the past few years, Dickson has served as the vice president of sales for the Western Region of Kollmorgen’s Industrial Automation business unit, and then as the global vice president of sales for its “Custom & Aerospace and Defense” group. He most recently served as vice president, global sales & outbound marketing at Kollmorgen’s Vehicle Systems business. Dickson brings experience in sales and marketing of industrial automation systems and components through multiple channels, and has broad experience in many of Piab’s target strategic markets.
