A Jackson, MS plastics manufacturing plant collapsed during a massive blaze at the facility Wednesday, local news organizations reported.

Crews were called to the Harrison Manufacturing location on Mayes Street around 3:30 p.m. Bystanders said the flames ignited outside the plant and then moved inside the structure, Jackson Asst. Fire Chief Patrick Armon told CBS News affiliate WJTV.

One firefighter received minor burn injuries during the response, according to coverage by news broadcaster WLBT. Armon said in the NBC station’s account that some workers were inside the plant when the fire broke out but were unharmed.

The building was declared a total loss. Jackson Fire Department is carrying out an investigation into the cause of the incident.

Harrison Manufacturing supplies injection molded plastic parts and welded, painted metal stampings to the automotive and consumer industries, information on its website states. The 25,000 facility in Jackson was the firm’s primary location.
