A 56-year-old contractor was fatally injured in an accident Monday at the Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) soybean processing facility in St. Joseph, MO, local news organizations reported this week.

The victim, identified by authorities as Skinner Tank Company employee Tony Wilson, is thought to have been hurt after falling 57 ft from the top of a tank at the Lower Lake Road site, coverage by the St. Joseph News-Press said.

“It’s an unfortunate accident,” AGP Vice President of Corporate Relations and Government Affairs Matt Caswell told television news station KFEQ.

Reports said the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating the death.
