Louisiana-Pacific, known as LP, is a producer of building materials, including exterior siding and trip, framing rim board and treated LSL, and panels and sheathing. The Sagola facility manufactures oriented strand board (OSL), according to information on the company’s website.

The company was cited by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in March 2018 after a worker injured their ribs, forearm, and abdomen in a fork lift injury at the Sagola plant in October 2017, according to agency records.
