Inclusions and specialty food ingredients firm Parker Products plans to hold an opening ceremony for its new plant in Fort Worth, TX on Apr. 18, 2018, the company announced in a press release Monday.
“Everyone at Parker is very excited about the opening of our new facility, and we are proud of how it has come together,” Shon Essex, executive vice president of Parker, said in a statement. “We began planning for the facility more than seven years ago and no detail has been overlooked. We went above the industry standard in plant design to create a world-class facility that is second to none.”
The 900,000-sq-ft facility includes digital real-time monitoring of equipment performance and quality control checks, separate air handling systems for each of the production rooms, and technologies to improve efficiency.
“Along with quality, top priorities for our facility were efficiency and waste reduction,” Greg Hodder, president of Parker Products, said in the release. “I’m proud to say the new location features many green initiatives.”
The firm’s release did not detail how much was invested in the Fort Worth facility.
