Precast concrete supplier Faddis Concrete Products will invest $6.7 million in a new manufacturing facility in Richburg, SC, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the South Carolina Department of Commerce. With the opening of the facility, about 60 new jobs will be created.

“Faddis Concrete Products’ corporate office is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. We are pleased to bring our growing company to Chester County, South Carolina, with our sixth manufacturing facility,” the firm’s president, J. Robert Hess Jr., said in a statement. “Specializing in precast concrete for highway construction, we pride ourselves in maintaining a small company/family feel. We look forward to engaging in our Chester County community and opening our doors to prospective employees, suppliers, and customers.”

The new production facility will manufacture precast concrete products for use in highway construction projects, including precast noise wall posts and panels, safety barriers, retaining walls, and bridge arches.

Faddis Concrete Products expects the new facility to come on line in the fourth quarter of 2019.
