Fire crews responded to a Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids, IA on Friday morning after a worker’s arm became trapped in a product lift, several local news organizations report.

First responders from the Cedar Rapids Fire Department found the man in his 20s conscious when they arrived at the scene, Waterloo, IA-based NBC News affiliate KWWL reported.

After the man was extricated from the equipment, he was later taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Cedar Rapids has long been known as a center of cereal production and grain processing. The Quaker Oats plant there is sometimes described as the “world’s largest cereal plant.”
