A fire crew from the Boise Fire Department worked for several hours early Thursday morning to free a man who became trapped under a conveying system at a rock crushing plant in Kuna, ID, television news station KTVB reported.

“The man was performing maintenance on a large conveyor belt when a cable snapped, causing the interior metal framework to slide down, trapping the worker between the interior metal framework and the exterior framing of the conveyor belt,” the fire department said in a Facebook post.

Firefighters worked for three hours, using spreaders and a cutting torch, hours to free the man.

Coverage by KTVB said the worker’s condition is unknown.
