Dietary supplements and vitamins supplier Nature’s Value Inc. is investing $19 million to open a new 426,000-sq-ft manufacturing, testing and laboratory center in Winston-Salem, NC, according to a release issued Tuesday by the office of North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper.

“This expansion project will help us to be more competitive and allow us to be more accessible to our main customers, while creating employment and economic prospects for the talented North Carolina working community,” the firm’s CEO, Oscar Ramjeet, said in a statement. “We look forward to the opportunities that this expansion project will bring.”

Advanced manufacturing and testing equipment will be installed in the GMP plant, according to the governor’s office.

Nature’s Value is a private label manufacturer of dietary supplements, functional foods, and nutritional health products, information on its website states. The company also operates a 225,000-sq-ft location in Long Island, NY and a 25,000-sq-ft facility in Lexington, NC.
