REMBE Inc. announces Till Westerbarkey has been named its new CEO.

Westerbarkey comes to REMBE with extensive worldwide explosion safety and business development experience from his many years with REMBE Safety + Control, as well as previous industry experience.

Most recently, Westerbarkey developed a sales, engineering, and service team as managing director of REMBE Latin America, significantly growing the Latin American market/awareness of combustible dust explosion safety and REMBE capabilities to service that market.

While undertaking the project, Westerbarkey also worked with the REMBE chief business development officer in Germany as deputy chief business development officer to increase networking within the REMBE Group and to better serve global accounts on an international level.

After more than 16 years, president and CEO Dr. Gerd Mayer is retiring from REMBE Inc.. Mayer oversaw REMBE Inc.’s start-up and growth to today’s position as a significant name in the combustible dust explosion safety market. In addition to establishing a US headquarters facility in Fort Mill, SC, Mayer spearheaded the REMBE Inc. ISO Certification project to a successful conclusion.

Mayer will stay on with REMBE Inc. in a consulting capacity until April 30, 2023.
