Mars Mineral Names Pisani Project Manager

Mars Mineral, a leader in the design and production of agitation pelletizing equipment and systems, has hired Matt Pisani as a project manager.

Pisani is a senior-level engineer who will provide customer technical support, assist with business development activities, and coordinate equipment manufacturing and acquisition activities with field system installations and commissioning for the company’s global customer base.

Prior to joining Mars Mineral, Pisani held management and sales engineering positions with Heyl & Patterson, Alstom Power Conversion, and Draeger Safety. He earned a B.S. in Electromechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
 
“Matt’s technical expertise and business experience will help us to strengthen relationships with established customers and cultivate new business opportunities,” says Clayton Woodward, president of Woodward Inc., Mars Mineral’s parent company. “His abilities to help customers optimize equipment use, as well as lead the design, construction and commissioning of complex systems, will help us realize significant growth.”
 
Mars Mineral manufactures agitation pelletizing equipment and systems that converts dusts, fines, and powders into pellets used in manufacturing, processing, and agricultural environments. These pellets have a wide range of applications, including ceramics, clay, energy, glass dust, industrial and agricultural chemicals, lime and cement, manure, metals, minerals, pigments and coatings, plastics and rubber, process chemicals, pulp and paper, steel, stone, and thermal depolymerization. The company also offers a wide range of research and testing services, and pilot scale development. Mars Mineral’s 45,000-sq-ft production facility is located in Mars, PA, near Pittsburgh.
