Industrial packaging producer MAUSER USA LLC recently opened a new intermediate bulk container (IBC) manufacturing facility in North Wales, PA, expanding the firm’s presence in the northeast U.S., the company announced in a press release Monday.

MAUSER USA’s newly-opened plant will supply IBC bottles to reconditioning firm National Container Group (NCG). IBC bottle replacements will be provided through NCG to customers in the region.

“IBCs and reconditioned packaging continue to be drivers of growth within the industrial packaging industry,” Jeff DeLiberty, director of new markets and business development at MAUSER USA, in a statement “Providing these solutions in the northeastern U.S. corridor is critical as it further completes MAUSER’s North American footprint.”

The company said the location in Pennsylvania will enable the company to improve lead times and its customer service.

“We are excited to enter the northeastern market with IBC bottle capabilities,” said Ed Konyen, senior vice president of the firm’s IBC Division, in the release. “This new location will improve our carbon footprint as we optimize our supply of bottles to our NCG locations and further solidify our commitment to sustainable packaging.”

Established in 1896, the MAUSER Group is a global industrial packaging firm that provides solutions for end users in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and agrochemical industries.
