The Continua FFS machine with six linear bagging positions is specifically designed for filling fine powders into hermetically sealed PE bags from 10 to 110 lb, with fully automatic format change on the whole line. Packaging rates up to 800 bags per hour for powders and 500 bags per hour with powders in hermetic sealed bag. This machine is designed for aerated, fluidized, powdery, and/or aggressive products. It has three operating stations: one to form the bottom of the bag and cut the film to the desired length, the second one for filling, and the third one for sealing the upper bag edge. The operating phases and the changeover of the machine operating parameters are PLC-assisted and can be completed in a short amount of time, without any operator intervention, thanks to the actuators mounted on the machine. The monobloc structure, equipped with inspection doors, makes the system safe for the operator.
