Fire crews worked for several hours Saturday morning to extinguish a fire that broke out at the JBS USA meat packaging plant in Green Bay, WI, several local news organizations reported.

Responding to the scene at 1330 Lime Kiln Rd. at about 3 a.m., firefighters observed thick smoke and fire coming from the plant, the Green Bay Press-Gazette’s coverage said.

Though the cause of the fire is under investigation, officials told media that the blaze appears to have started in duct work in the plant’s rendering area.

Firefighters cleared the scene at about 6:30 a.m., reporting no injuries. It is unclear how much damage was caused by the fire.

Employees were working to restore the plant’s operations immediately following the incident.
