In keeping with its mission of becoming a technological and commercial leader, Premier Tech has acquired all the assets of the Equipment Division of Graphic Packaging International Inc. Located in Salt Lake City, this division manufactures and markets packaging equipment and specializes in valve bag filling systems.

With this acquisition, Premier Tech Systems (PTS), a business unit of Premier Tech, integrates the renowned expertise of 60 skilled team members to its existing team of 500 people. The addition of a sixth plant in North America allows PTS to improve its presence in its various markets, while diversifying its product line, in order to speed up a penetration of the American territory.

Founded in 1901 and formerly operating as St-Regis and Stone, the Equipment Division of Graphic Packaging International is foremost known as the developer of a series of valve bag filling systems for packaging of granular and powdered products, mainly in the food, chemical, and mineral industries. These products will now be marketed by PTS under the Stonepak label and will complete the company’s technological platforms.
