Matcon won two PPMA Group Industry Awards at a gala dinner event held on the opening night of the recent Processing & Packaging Machinery Association Show in Birmingham.

Entries were judged by a fully independent panel of industry specialists, and Matcon was a finalist in four categories. Matcon received awards for “Processing & Packaging Machinery Manufacturer of the Year” and “Exceptional Sales Growth”.

The awards were in recognition of Matcon being a machinery manufacturer that has excelled in areas such as new product development, sales, and customer service, and secondly, displaying exceptional growth in sales domestically and abroad.

Matcon were also commended for the “Partnership of the Year” award, recognizing its close working relationship with leading metal detection equipment supplier Lock Inspection Systems.

The event took place at the National Motorcycle Museum and was hosted by Actor and Comedian Bobby Davro and television presenter Amy Garcia.
