Environmental Packaging Technologies Named Sponsor for Canada's 'We Day'

Flexitank technology leader, Environmental Packaging Technologies Ltd. (EPT), has been named a presenting sponsor for "We Day", the Free The Children signature event said to be the world's largest network of children helping children through education.

Founded in 1995 by 12-year-old Canadian child rights activist, Craig Kielburger, the event will be September 29 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The nonprofit organization targets poverty and exploitation of children by empowering youth through leadership opportunities. Free The Children has built more than 500 schools around the world and has reached more than one million young people, says Kielburger.

Children who attend “We Day” commit to take tangible actions for a better world.

"We are honored to join Free The Children as a partner in improving the lives of young people around the world," said Nancy Wendrock, EPT president. "As a global company, we are passionate about reducing the environmental impact of our products and being active global citizens. We are inspired by the efforts made by Free The Children, particularly its clean water projects and are happy to support their initiatives."
