Silo held 25,000 bushels of soybeans.

A man died Saturady after being trapped in a storage silo at Bunge Contractors that held 25,000 bushels of soybeans.

According to the Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD), crews repsonded at about 12:30 p.m. The Hendricks County Confined Space Team and the Hancock County Collapse Rescue team were also called in to assist with the effort. After almost 10 hours, the body of Marvin Tyler, 32, was recovered.

The IFD said the biggest obstacle to getting to Tyler--who was found near the bottom of the 110-ft silo--was the shifting soybeans.

Bunge Contractors is an oil seed processing plant. An investigation at the plant was underway.
