Independent Mineral Standards (IMS) is the first dedicated Certified Reference Materials (CRM) producer in Australia to achieve ISO 17034 accreditation.

The accreditation covers both crushed and pulverized certified reference materials across a range of commodities, including gold, iron ore, and bauxite.

The ISO 17034 accreditation was granted to IMS by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), Australia’s leading accreditation authority for more than 70 years.

NATA supports national and international trade through the acceptance of test and calibration data. ISO 17034 (General Requirement for Competence of Reference Material Producers) accreditation assures clients that the quality and reliability of reference materials developed and produced by IMS conforms to strict technical, procedural, and managerial system requirements.
