Ingredion Names New Executives to Leadership Team

Global ingredient solutions provider Ingredion Incorporated recently named three new executives to its leadership team were in response to vacancies that will emerge when Jim Zallie assumes his new role as the firm’s chief executive officer and president on Jan. 1, the Westchester, IL firm said in a press release Monday.

Jorgen Kokke was appointed as the firm’s executive vice president of global specialties and president of North America, taking his post on Feb. 5. Most recently, Kokke served as vice president and general manager of Ingredion in Asia Pacific. He joined the company in 2009 as the vice president and general manager of EMEA.

Ingredion’s current general manager and vice president of EMEA, Pierre Perez Y Landazuri, will be promoted to senior vice president and president of EMEA. Perez Y Landazuri, along with Ingredion senior vice president and president of South America, Ernesto Pousada, were named as officers of the company and members of its executive leadership team. Both will transition into their roles on Jan 1.

Perez Y Landazuri is a veteran of BASF, Rohm and Haas, and Hercules. He also served as vice president and general manager of Asia Pacific at CP Kelco. Pousada joined Ingredion in 2016 from Brazilian pulp and paper firm Suzano Papel e Celulose.
