Iris Valve

Powder Show Booth 1944 - The Lorenz Iris Valve is used to control the flow of powders, granules, flakes, or crystals in production equipment like hoppers, bins, dryers, blenders, bulk bag unloaders, and vertical pipe lines. The double locking series is available in aluminum with a mild steel, zinc-plated rotating ring. The locking lever is manufactured from aluminum. Polyurethane-coated nylon diaphragms are standard. When conveying abrasive product an optional “wear sleeve” ensures the product doesn’t have direct contact with the diaphragm resulting in longer life to the diaphragm. The iris valve can be used across many industries including chemical, food processing, plastics, pharmaceutical, dairy, fertilizer, and detergent. One week delivery is standard.

Drum Conditioner

Powder Show Booth 3127 - Manufactured from 304 stainless steel, this drum conditioner is fully pneumatic. It is equipped with a manual turntable to hold the drums, floor locks, two-handed controls for safe operation, and four abrasion-resistant polyurethane wheels for maneuverability. It is used in warehouse environments, GMP areas, hazardous locations, or any site with an air supply. The unit applies pressure through horizontal and vertical bars; drums are to be loaded with the internal liner still tied and the lid still attached. The pneumatic cylinders generate 1600 lb of clamping force spread evenly, yet through multiple points of contact over the drum surface. The turntable can hold plastic and fiber drums ranging from 12 to 36 in. high, and 12 to 24 in. in diam; cardboard boxes ranging from 12 to 24 in. in square base area, and 12 to 36 in. high; and multi-ply paper or plastic bags ranging from 12 to 36 in. high.

Bulk Bag Filler

Powder Show Booth 1339 – This high-output filling system features a Power-Lift system for powered fill head height adjustment, a Power Trak traversing bag fill carriage, and an Easy-Load rotary bag hanger system. These features bring the fill head and bag strap connection points directly in front and within reach of the operator for convenient bag connection. The bag support carriage and fill head lower to a programmed operator height, extend horizontally toward the operator, then rotate for “reach-free” bag connection. The bag is automatically inflated, accurately filled to a programmed set point, which is weighed and monitored using a hang weigh scale system, then densified. Once the fill cycle is complete, the bag inlet spout and straps are release, the fill head raises, and the filled bag is removed via a base-integrated powered roller conveying system. CompactLogix PLC controls with color HMI provide easy access to system status, recipes, and operational parameters.

Dust Collector

Powder Show Booth 3216 - MikroPul introduces the FS line of industrial dust collectors. Retainer Bands for Pleated Filters

Powder Show Booth 3005 - WelTech from Nordic Air Filtration is a method of attaching outer retainers to pleated air filters without the use of sloppy glue, thick plastic, or pinching zip-ties that can damage filter media, reduce service life, or fall off into process dust. Weltech uses no adhesive, which gives the end user several benefits:
