Engineering manager Thomas DiGiannurio has been promoted to vice-president, engineering at Charles Ross & Son Co., a manufacturer of industrial mixing equipment.

DiGiannurio joined Ross in 1977 and has been a major contributor to the company’s worldwide operations. With his expertise in designing process equipment and custom-engineered machinery, DiGiannurio has assisted Ross Metal Fabricators (Deer Park, NY), Ross Mixing (Port St. Lucie, FL), Ross Engineering (Savannah, GA), Ross Systems & Controls (Savannah, GA), Nantong Ross Mixing Equipment (Nantong, China), Ross Wuxi Equipment (Wuxi, China) and Ross Process Equipment (Pune, India), both personally and from his seat at the Hauppauge, NY corporate headquarters.

DiGiannurio holds degrees in mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering in addition to over 45 years of experience in metal fabrication, finite element analysis, CAD/CAM design, and solid modeling.
