Bogard Lagman, Executive Vice President of Charles Ross & Son Co., headquartered in Hauppauge, NY, has announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Pune, India. The plant is a 100% owned facility and is 150 kilometers from Mumbai. The plant is convenient to transportation connections.

Ross initially will manufacture dry solids blenders and high-shear mixers, but expects to expand the facility and to add new product lines within the next 12 months. These products manufactured in India are available to any worldwide market, however are initially being marketed, primarily in India and other countries in Southern Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

Ross's Regional Manager, Lokendra Singh, oversees the operation of this new facility. Singh joined Ross in 2007 and is a Shivaji University graduate with a degree in B.E. Production.
