Mineral-based specialty solutions firm IMERYS is expanding its distribution agreement with IMCD, positioning the specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor as the preferred distributor of IMERYS Performance Minerals products across the US and Canada.

“Partnering with IMCD is the next exciting step forward in our continuing efforts to provide customer-centric solutions through market-based expertise and infrastructure,” said Jim Murburger, SVP and General Manager of IMERYS Performance Materials Americas, in a release. “We are proud to realize our goal of providing customers with one point of contact through IMCD. They have proven to be a great partner that can help provide our cusstomers with what they need, when they need it, and where they need it.”

The company said its partnership with IMCD offers customers a centralized contact to access IMERYS’ multi-mineral product portfolio. In turn IMCD will provide technical sales expertise, laboratory support, and its existing presence in the region. IMCD will represent all of IMERYS mineral products save for air float kaolin in Canada.

“This expanded distribution agreement is a testament to the trust and confidence we strive to build with our supplier partners,” Marcus Jordan, Americans President for IMCD, said in a statement. “Teaming up with IMCD across the US and Canada means access to our coast-to-coast, market-focused technical knowledge and logistical reach, delivering effective solutions, driving innovation and cultivating market growth.”
