Vibrating Conveyors for Corrosive, Severe-Duty Environment

These vibrating conveyors are operating in fiberglass reinforcement facilities collecting, dewatering, and transferring fiber glass scrap to a reclaim facility. A total of eleven conveyors are located on elevated structures in a wet, corrosive atmosphere. Features of these specially designed vibrating conveyors include corrosion-resistant powder-coated natural frequency steel coil drive spring system, 304 stainless steel trough, inclined dewatering ramps with drains, corrosion-resistant rubber isolation springs, and an epoxy paint system. The rubber piston drive maintains positive stroke under varying product loads. Longstroke operation and 45-degree attack angle reliably conveys the wet, stringy fiber glass scrap product. Counter-balanced equipment eliminates the transmission of vibrations to sensitive production and control equipment.
